How it works

Tuition is offered on a one to one basis, lessons are normally one hour and take place in my guitar lounge! The lounge doubles as a studio, where I have access to a keyboard music station and many versatile recording facilities- great for when things really start to get interesting!

I will work with you to learn what you want, as fast or as slow as you want.  I am a very patient teacher, enjoy helping you to find solutions to problems and use my extensive experience to offer insights into how you can progress.

I am predominately a finger style guitarist and concentrate foremost on developing those skills with my students.

The tuition is based on a four stage system with a certificate of achievement being issued on completion of each stage. In most cases, students complete all four stages within three years.

From day one, I provide you with all kinds of paper resources to help you develop your own guitar portfolio as you learn.
